Quiz of the day?
Who was the first company to manufacture Triple Insulated Wire?
Yes, you guessed it - Rubadue Wire Company, Inc! Why do other people claim they did? No originality! Now we are again moving forward with the thinnest TIW on the market.
New Products:
Triple layer 20-40 AWG with .001” per layer recently received approval for 60950-1 for electronic use. Double layer 20-40 AWG size with .001” per layer received approval for 60950-1 and for 2601 approval for medical and dental applications. Click here to have information sent on .001” per layer.
PFA approvals for single double and triple insulated products are available now with a reduced wall thickness to .0015” per layer. PFA’s excellent temperature capacity of a continuous rating of 260C enables it to withstand the high temperatures components are being exposed to during the lead free reflow process.
RoHS Compliance:
All of Rubadue Wire’s products consisting of flouropolymer or fluorocarbon insulation types manufactured since 1/1/05 have been RoHS compliant. Currently all of Rubadue Wire’s new production, including those manufactured with PVC, are RoHS compliant.
Inventory of Non-RoHS compliant parts are available at huge discounts. Click here for a listing of parts for sale. Returns or credits will not be allowed on these parts.
UL 1446 Insulation Systems:
Updates allowing the use of many additional tapes have been performed on the RXT2 Class F Insulation system. Click here to have updated information sent via email. Many tapes & varnishes have been added to RXT2.
UL EIS long term aging is done, sealed tube testing in process to allow insulation down to total insulation build of .0015” of ETFE Tefzel®.
Agency Updates:
IEC 60950-1 is required as of July 1st, 2006.
Increased Finished Goods Inventory:
We understand
you need your products yesterday! Our stock of single, double and
triple insulated winding wires in both the United States and Hong
Kong is set now to meet many of your needs from immediate stock
in both locations. Availability from stock is maximized if color
is not specified.
Lead Times:
Rubadue Wire is committed to improving
our level of service to our customers. We have added resources in
production and increased raw material inventories. This has caused
our lead time to be reduced to 2-4 weeks on almost all products
on items not coming from stock.
Lead Free Reflow:
The profiles for lead free reflow
have temperatures higher than previously done in that process. Let
us know if the product being used is not dealing well with current
reflow profiles so we can provide a solution.
ISO:
Did you know ISO 14001:1996 is being updated?
Rubadue Wire is already certified to ISO 14001:1996, and in the
process of being certified to the 2nd Edition of 14001.
